I am going to nominate the Mercedes Mclaren SLR. I adore these things.

Maserati GranTourismo based off looks and sound alone

Good choice but a little slow

Wait it came up. Aston Martin DB9 is a good choice but not as cool as the SLR.
![]() 11/01/2015 at 09:28 |

Incorrect the answer is GT6. Shelby Daytona!
![]() 11/01/2015 at 09:33 |

I’d be okay with that, especially when it looks that good
![]() 11/01/2015 at 09:34 |

v12 for natural smoothness
Gated shifter
Custom luggage
Timeless understated good looks

Yikes. That Mercedes has *not* aged well.
I nominate the Aston Martin One-77 for being so hideous I love it.
![]() 11/01/2015 at 09:41 |

Eh, GT kinda lost my interest when they started doing cars of two different qualities.
And I mean, sometimes a lot of really kick ass cars ended up as Standard and some boring thing (that has like 20 liveries) gets Premium. :(

Ferrari 575 Superamerica. Although I prefer the looks of the 550.
![]() 11/01/2015 at 09:43 |

Okay this is maybe the best choice I have seen so far
![]() 11/01/2015 at 09:44 |
|
Really? I think they have aged really well
![]() 11/01/2015 at 09:44 |

That was really annoying

Second person to nominate this generation Ferrari and it is a really great choice
![]() 11/01/2015 at 09:45 |

Not even a Daytona Coupe can compensate the fact that GT6 is one of the laziest pieces of digital shit from the past few years.
![]() 11/01/2015 at 09:46 |

I like it more now than 10 years ago, however it still screams “I’m trying REALLY HARD to get your attention.”
![]() 11/01/2015 at 09:47 |
|
How so? I really enjoyed playing it
![]() 11/01/2015 at 09:48 |

It looks like a penis car drawn by a 5 year old, and the headlights looks like an aftermarket projector retrofit kit, not 1st-party equipment.
![]() 11/01/2015 at 09:49 |

You are crazy. It looks excellent especially the unobtainium 777
![]() 11/01/2015 at 10:02 |

Most (if not all) of the Standard cars are just cars ported over from the PS2 and handheld versions of the game, then upscaled. You’d think that a game with that many years of development would be more “finished”?
Idk, I love GT (and would still be playing it had I not gotten a 360 then a One), but they have gotten complacent in recent years...going for quantity over quality.
Forza isn't purrrfect either, but as of current it does seem T10 has greater attention to detail than Polyphony. Of course, that may change with GT7.

Can’t decide which one I want more

The Mercedes offers a V12

Hmmm, a white S63 coupe with white interior.. WANT

I've ridden in one!! It's not even giggly fast. Just a rocket
![]() 11/01/2015 at 10:41 |

Either the SLR or the 612 scagliettti

I enjoyed it too. Until about two months after release. That was when I had completed the singleplayer which was pretty poor at best, an uninspired, casualized rehash of GT5 that is extremely tiring to earn money on, the most interesting thing about it being the coffee breaks, of which there were only about ten. A car list that brought barely anything new to the table that they didn’t even bother updating, useless, uninteresting and sometimes delusional features that a majority of players can not even use, and worst of all broken physics and an utter train wreck of a multiplayer. Remember GTA:Online at launch? Pretty unplayable, but that was because GTA V was such a massive hit that literally millions of players tried to play at once and of course servers could not keep up with it, however R* managed to mostly fix it within weeks and now it works. GT6 on the other hand, a game with a much, much smaller audience is still almost unplayable online nearly two years after launch, despite PD cutting server support for GT5: Impossible to connect to a room, endless loading times, a bug where players can’t see other players in a race and lag in general. It didn’t even have arguably the best thing about GT5s online mode, the Shuffle races. I have been a defender of the GT franchise for a while, but even my blind fanboyism can not defend such an atrocity. My only hope is that they can pull off a fresh start with GTS and fix most of these issues. If they want this FIA sanctioned online racing series to be a success, PD has to put a lot of effort into making an all around coherent and enjoyable gaming experience, especially facing the eternal nemesis Forza Motorsport which is as strong as ever as well as new competitors that for the most part actually deliver what the gamers expect.

It looks like a Batmobile. This is both a good and bad thing.

Bentley Brooklands. All the power, all the presence.

It’s only been 14 years in this century so far, so we might be a little premature. That said:
F12, even though I like the exterior looks of the 599 more, this one is simply better in every other category.
And shockingly, a case could be made for the California, as it is essentially the GT.

This line right hear creates the impression of sag.

I know a guy that works at the Rockstar accounting office and he says the owner has one. I do see one at the Villages shopping center in Corte Madera sometimes, only one I’ve ever seen in the wild. It’s pretty cool.
![]() 11/01/2015 at 13:37 |

Really? The fastest thing I have ever been is was a Zr1. About as fast as the SLR but not nearly as cool
![]() 11/01/2015 at 13:37 |
|
I would have to say SLR on looks. But the 612 is handsome
![]() 11/01/2015 at 13:39 |
|
That is an excellent choice
![]() 11/01/2015 at 13:41 |

It was implied that I meant 21st century thus far. And the F12 is a good choice. But for whatever the reason I have never liked it much
![]() 11/01/2015 at 13:41 |
|
I don’t agree. Just bad angle for the photo
![]() 11/01/2015 at 13:42 |
|
I have yet to see one of these. I really want to
![]() 11/01/2015 at 13:42 |

I meant it's beyond giggly fast
![]() 11/01/2015 at 15:15 |

We still have 85 years to go to make an educated guess, but so far I'd nominate an Aston Martin. The SLR McLaren seems a bit too brutal to be a true GT.
![]() 11/01/2015 at 17:40 |
|
Yeah I meant so far. And I think the 777 might be too brutal but not the normal SLR
![]() 11/01/2015 at 18:17 |
|
It’s not actually sagging, but at every angle I’ve seen I get the feeling that it is. It has to do with how utterly flat the bonnet is on Mercedes’s GTs and roadsters. With such a straight line from stem to stern, it doesn’t take much to give the impression of something being out of alignment.
![]() 11/01/2015 at 18:19 |

Yeah, I don’t actually like the F12, but it is a very good car. My personal choice of car would be an Aston Martin DBS in manual, but I know this one is better and, as a dying breed of V12 monster, it actually has the makings of something great while the DBS is overshadowed by the newer Vanquish and even the standard DB9.
